Google may not appear to run print adverts very often, but they’re more common than you might think, and this one is sublime. The ad was shown in Turkey to publicize Google AdWords. And according to Businessinsider.com, Google runs these kinds of ads around the world. Oh, and if you can’t read the text at the bottom, it says, “We know what you’re searching for, even when you don’t…”
On an ironic side note, a Google search for “battlesheep” returns about 126,000 results, with no alternative spelling suggestions. Still, points for creativity. And who knows? Maybe it only works in Turkey.
