I know things aren't great at Dell but how much of the previous success was due to good luck? How many of the factors slowing them down were in place before Rollins took charge? How long does it take to turn a ship the size of Dell around? Etc. I think that it is quite possibly incorrect to conclude that Rollins (or The Gap's Pressler, or even Nardelli at Home Depot) are the root cause of bad results.
