The Big Money by Rush should be on here. It actually talks about money in life as a problem, being a good and bad thing “Big money goes around the World…Big Money got no soul” Much more significant lyrics than most of these songs.

Seriously,one of the best songs about the difference between the rich & the working class,and how people with $ can never truly sympathize. The lyrics are witty, quite profound,and very British. And the song rocks, too! Check it out on YouTube if you haven’t heard this song…

- “We’re In The Money” by Ginger Rogers, Bugs Bunny, etc.
It was a ironic song, written during the Great Depression, and it’s wonderful! Sample Lyrics:
“We’re in the money the skies are sunny, We got a lot of what it takes to get along/ We never see the headlines or breadlines these days/ And when we see the Landlord, we can Look That Guy Right in the Eye”
I love that line because when I lived in the same apartment building as my landlord, I remember not being able to leave one day because he was painting outside the building and I was avoiding him because I didn’t have the rent paid yet. Ahem! Good times…lol
