A smart move would be for someone to design and market a stainless steel converter guard as stainless is very hard to cut and requires plasma torches and special saws too big for most thieves to drag under your SUV. You can bet the guy in the pick-up truck is NOT driving to the refinery. To get retail prices you'll need to pick up the telephone and call your local recyclers.
