Would you buy a beer that tastes like coffee?
A drink somewhere between coffee and beer could soon be on the menu. Nestec, part of the Nestlé empire in Switzerland, has filed patents in every major market round the world on a "fermented coffee beverage" that pours and foams like beer, but smells of strong coffee and packs a concentrated caffeine kick.
Maybe it's more like a coffee with a beer taste. I don't know. Beer and Coffee are my two favorite drinks, but sometimes two rights can make a wrong.

Coffee flavored craft beers have been around a long time. Many home brewers have tried their hand at them–with mixed results. The old Drew Carey Show had Drew and the gang running a micro-brew out of Drew’s garage where they made a coffee-beer. So, the idea isn’t new. I’ve never tried one myself, but I would be willing.
Rogue makes an excellent mocha porter, there’s the remains of a six pack in my fridge at home. Coffee stouts are good too.
