The WSJ has a debate about corporate social responsibility. Is it good citizenship, or does it rip off investors? Read it and form your own ideas. This is important to think about. Businesses don't exist in a vacuum.

    As always, the trouble with “corporate social responsibility” is that different people can have radically different ideas about what constitutes responsibility, and there can be shades of gray in those ideas too. Ideally, I don’t want ten year olds making the shoes I wear, but if they’re going to starve, or wind up working for the pimp down the street otherwise, maybe factory work isn’t so bad.
