A Question for Richard Branson

Fortune has a short article about Richard Branson, which I point out because I'll be hearing him speak tomorrow at the American Express Open Conference. I've been hired to blog about it, which is a very interesting story that I will blog about later. My goal is to get to ask Richard Branson a question. I mean, he's one of the most celebrated entrepreneurs in the world right? So if you had 30 seconds, what would you ask him? Leave a comment or shoot me an email and I'll pick one to have ready if I get to meet him, or ask a question after his speech.

While the conference is in progress, you'll see the following disclaimers at the bottom of relevant posts.

"The opinions expressed on this site do not necessarily reflect those of American Express. If you post on the blogs, be aware that any personal information you post will be viewable by anybody reading the blogs."

"The facilitator and bloggers for this event have been compensated for their
time by OPEN from American Express."

So keep in mind that despite being paid, American Express wants me to say what I really think. They just want you to realize it is me saying it, not them.

    Ask him this:
If you could either produce more petrol or reduce the quantity being consumed, which would you do? More importantly, why that one and not the other?

I’ve managed to save up roughly $76846 in my bank account, but I’m not sure if I should buy a house or not. Do you think the market is stable or do you think that home prices will decrease by a lot?
