An organization opposed to Wal-Mart Stores Inc. took out a full-page newspaper ad Wednesday that accuses the world's biggest retailer of costing taxpayers some $1.6 billion a year.
While I fully understand the point of these people, I'm not sure they see the other side of the issue. There are small towns and semi-rural places where people swear by WalMart.
