They had better tread carefully with this. Price floors on labor can be a very bad thing. Luckily, they are only considering it for companies that have city contracts, so it won't affect fast food restaurants, and other cheap-labor businesses. My guess is that very few people would actually see a salary increase, and it will be more of a feel-good law to boost Atlanta's image.
