Being an Adaptive Manager

Jeffery and Skip both discuss adaptive management styles. Let's face it, "Five Keys of Great Managers" or whatever doesn't usually cut it. Management is situational.

    Your post some weeks back bears repeating Rob. People are terrible judges (and overconfident) about their judgments in situations and their abiltiy to adapt. Without an accurate feedback system most only “think” they are succeeding.

    It’s like taking stock of one’s “authenticity.” It can’t be based on a self-assessment.
