Beyoncé increases Red Lobster sales by 33%

Beyonce Super Bowl Halftime Show - Red Lobster Sales

Red Lobster’s sales jumped by 33% on Sunday after Beyoncé released a new song featuring a mention of the seafood chain.

The new song ‘Formation’ mentions Red Lobster as a reward for sex.

The new single was released on Saturday and was then performed at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday.

The restaurant chain also announced that it trended on Twitter for the first time in company history following the song’s release.

Red Lobster received more than 300,000 mentions on the social network over the weekend. 42,000 of those mentions were recorded within the first hour of Beyoncé’s performance.

Some Red Lobster locations are offering speciality drinks in the singers name. If you see the “Bey Breeze” on the menu you now know why.
