Dr. Starling Hunter, a professor at MIT, has performed a detailed analysis of BlogAds. How much money do popular blogs make? Do blogs on the left or the right make more? Do political blogs make more than others? These are the kinds of questions the study answers. Dr. Hunter points out some issues, such that all of the data came from BlogAds and not other blog advertising companies, but nonetheless it is interesting stuff.
