I didn't have to wait long to have my question answered. Buffett wants to raise property taxes. This may have contributed to California housing bubbles, but doing it now with the economy in such bad shape won't help growth. The first thing to do is get economic growth started again, then maybe California can raise taxes a bit without killing their economy.
