Burger King’s new ‘Angriest Whopper’ is all about the hot spice

Burger King Angriest Whopper

Burger King has created a new Whopper and it’s a celebration of hot spices.

“The Angriest Whopper,” has hot sauce baked into its buns and they are colored red to match the spice.

The burger comes standard with beef, bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onion petals, mayonnaise, jalapenos and a spicy sauce.

The burger is a follow-up to Burger King’s “Angry Whopper” and it’s not calorie friendly. Each burger is 830 calories or 200 more calories than a regular Whopper. It’s also 60 calories more than a Bacon and Cheese Whopper (770 calories).

“The Angriest Whopper” will make its debut on March 31 and was revealed on Burger King’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

This isn’t the first time Burger King has used a colored bun, it debuted a black bun during the Halloween season in 2015 and it featured a red-bun sandwich in Japan.
