Greensboro Burger Kings — along with stores in the Kansas City metropolitan area and Omaha, Neb. — are piloting a program to provide free Burger King food to American soldiers overseas.
Through Jan. 15, customers at 38 Greensboro-area Burger Kings will have the opportunity to buy a $4 Whopper Value Meal for a soldier serving in Iraq. The meals will be prepared and served by the three Burger King stores in Iraq. Customers can also sign a holiday greeting card for the troops.
