If you told me a decade ago that Under Armour would be the athletic apparel company with the biggest rising stars on the planet, I would have told you that you’re insane.
Whether it’s golf, basketball, or even the ballet, Under Armour is dominating the professional sports arena.
The newest rising star for the company? Cam Newton.
The Carolina Panthers quarterback is undefeated in 11 games this NFL season and he recently wore custom-designed UA cleats that featured images of him doing his two signature touchdown moves — the dab dance that’s all the rage now and a Superman pose — on one side. The words “thankful” and “grateful” are on the other.
Newton also did the dab, which appeared to be a mix of the mashed potato and twist dances moves after he scored a touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys.

Cam Newton and Tom Brady of the New England Patriots are now the only two undefeated quarterbacks in the NFL and you guessed it Brady also endorses Under Armour.
Under Armour’s stock is up 35% this year. Analysts are predicting that sales will increase more than 25% in 2016 and that earnings will be up nearly 30%.
I have a feeling executives at Under Armour are currently engaged in some silly endzone celebrations of their own.
