Google’s Glass: Betting on the Future


It’s too early to really say how Google’s latest gadget – Glass – will do in the consumer marketplace, but as of right now, the device seems to be the company’s biggest gamble. Its cost alone is enough to drive away mainstream consumers. A high price tag isn’t its only limitation, either, as critics point out that much of the device’s optimal features aren’t available without the use of a cell phone data plan or Wi-Fi connection.
