CotC Stats

The Carnival of the Capitalists was at Jotzel yesterday and I thought some of you might find it interesting to look at some stats. We normally aren't able to do this, but I use a tool called MyBlogLog at Jotzel that measures what people click on to leave the site (it has a free version if you want to use it on your blog). The stats aren't 100% accurate because I forgot to install the javascript on some pages. It is only in the individual entry pages and the main page, not the section or category pages. Anyway, I grabbed a screenshot of the stats and uploaded it to the the site. You can view the image here and see what people clicked on in the CotC. (If you have problems, save it to your computer and then magnify it).

Also note that traffic numbers are about 1/5 what they used to be, in large part because of the proliferation of carnivals and because Instapundit, the only big-time blogger to consistently link to carnivals, decided to put a box on the side of his site instead of direct links in his blogflow. Damn those low barriers to entry in the blog carnival business. Maybe it's time for a carnival of business blog carnivals, that takes the best posts from each business blog carnival and posts them in one place.

Have you read these books recommended by Warren Buffett.
