CoverGirl Star Wars Makeup

CoverGirl is preparing to launch a new Star Wars themed makeup line in September, giving female fans of the movie series plenty of time to pick up the makeup before the December release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The Star Wars inspired makeup line was created by makeup designer Pat McGrath. The limited edition like includes three nail polishes, six lipsticks and 10 mascaras.

This isn’t the first time CoverGirl has released a movie-inspired makeup line. In 2013 the company prepared for Hunger Games: Catching Fire with the release of its “Capitol Couture” makeup line.

CoverGirl isn’t alone in its efforts, MAC Cosmetics created Wonder Women makeup in 2011 and it released a dark Hello Kitty collection in 2009.

MAC also partnered with Disney to release the Venomous Villains Collection. L’Oreal Paris even targeted female geeks directly with its “Miss Manga Mascara.”
