Is it just me, or is the "phone guy" in the Cingular ads so annoying it makes you wonder why that other guy keeps him as a friend? The commercials annoy me so much that if I was to switch phone services, I wouldn't even consider Cingular. Have you ever seen the "Topper" character in Dilbert comic strips? That is what the phone guy reminds me of.
Do the Cingular executives think that ads belittling anyone that doesn't use their service will somehow make people sign up in droves? I get the point, that Cingular users have all these great phone features. Surely though, they could accomplish the same thing with a friendly and/or funny spin.
