Dyson’s new air purifier delivers tech with a dose of fresh air

Dyson Air Purifier

The Dyson Pure Cool Link purifier fan is ready to bring the fresh air of the great outdoors into your home.

The company says the Pure Cool Link is a smart device, equipped with a 360° Glass HEPA filter and connectivity via the Dyson Link app for iOS or Android.

Users can not only turn on the device from their smartphones, they can also monitor interior and exterior air quality (with help from BreezoMeter data), while also adjusting the settings on the fan or keeping history on the environment.

The Pure Cool Link also features an auto mode that turns the device on and off at different times in order to combat fluctuating oxygen quality.

Dyson says the device removes 99.97% of pollutants and allergens from the air.

The $499 device features a bladeless fan and goes on sale today.

You can buy other air purifiers for well under $200, but given Dyson’s history with this type of product, we’re willing to bet it’s still worth the cost.
