The Amesbury Sports Park is responding to the closing of the Georgetown Country Club’s abrupt closing by offering a venue to displaced brides and grooms.
We’re not yet known in the area for hosting weddings, but our senior management team has been in the hospitality business for over 85 years collectively with a major emphasis on weddings.” Our team has worked on over 600 weddings, and is positioned well to absorb many of the groups left high and dry when the Georgetown Country Club suddenly shut its doors without notice. This weekend we’re hosting a 200 person wedding in a gorgeous tent on our field, and we’re thrilled at the opportunity to assist families affected by this unfortunate closing.

We have received rave reviews about our food and service from the local community and we regularly host elaborate wine dinners and culinary events.

Our award winning Executive Chef, Kevin Jacques, says he’ll do “whatever it takes” to accommodate the culinary needs of the weddings. He can work with an existing menu from the Georgetown Country Club, or he can certainly create a custom menu to accommodate any taste. We’re flexible when it comes to keeping the brides happy!”

We’ll do everything we can to alleviate the stress that this situation has caused, and we're being incredibly flexible with pricing and to make the transition as easy as possible.

Call the Amesbury Sports Park, at (978) 388-5788 to discuss details and availability.

I am the lead social sales manager at the Warren Conference Center & Inn. We have beautiful grounds, waterfront setting and a country Inn for overnight guest. We are happy to assist any brides who have been displaced and work with them on a budget as we understand what has happened and would like to help.
