Good Morning

Hello. I'm Laurence Haughton. I co-authored the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today bestseller, It's Not the Big That Eat the Small…It's the FAST that Eat the Slow.
In January, Doubleday published my new book, It's Not What You Say… It's What You Do – How Following Through at Every Level Can Make or Break Your Company.
I'd like to thank Rob for inviting me to BusinessPundit dot com today.
My assignment today, as you saw in Rob's post yesterday, is to blog about "things that can help you execute well."
BTW, My focus in It's Not What you Say- It's What You Do is narrower than "execution." I researched "following through" from the leader's perspective, making sure that what's expected gets done. I pick up on the challenges managers face after the strategy summit, the off-site or the consultant's recommendations have been issued.
Today I'll post some of what I learned and a couple of thoughts about the connection between blogging and better follow-through.
