Google launches Gboard for iPhone and it will make your life easier

Google Gboard Keyboard

Google continues its march towards iPhone domination, this time with a new keyboard that streamlines Google searches.

Gboard is a new keyboard app that offers quick access to Google search.

Gboard lets you search as you type, without having to switch out of whatever app you’re currently using.

For example, if you’re looking for a place to meet with a client, you can search through the Gboard as you type a text message.

A “G” logo sits on the top left of the keyboard. Tap it, and you can search, find what you’re looking for, and automatically paste it into a text or an email.

You can also still look for Gifs and emojis using the new Google created keyboard.

Just like Swype and other similar apps, Gboard also offers Glide Typing which works in the exact same way.

The search giant has been working hard to update its keyboards. The company recently released a new keyboard for Android that makes it easier to type on large phones with one hand by shrinking the keyboard to the left or right side of the phone.

That feature isn’t yet available for iPhone 6S Plus users but may make an appearance in the future.

Gboard is now available on the iTunes App store and it’s 100% free.
