The economic stimulus checks are starting roll out. Whether you agree with this action by the US Federal government or not, some people are having a lot of fun with it.

This morning I found this fun little website where you can post an image showing how you spent your stimulus check. My favorite is the one from danielle from San Francisco who bought a Pleo toy to keep herself company. Hilarious.
I had to pay a credit card bill with 100% of the check.
Damn those no limit amex cards that are always due in full!

The Feds took my check for a student loan
I spent mine on house taxes, that I owed in January then, caught up on my house payment and gave 180. in tithes to my church, gave 80. to my sister in law for traveling gas money. the rest bought clothes for my family.
we bought groceries, paid the electric bill, and had enough left over for 2 gallons of gas.
i used most of it to buy food, but then the owners raised the rent here and i had to give the rest to them. so it woould help to recieve this new stimulus, but its only 250.00. im glad i can do a lot with top ramen.
well none of it is enough to help with the amounts of money we have lost when the stock market crashed, I would just like to have that money back. President Obama are you listening??????????????
All we recieved was a notice from the IRS stating that they took the stimulus check in leu of taxes that we were unable to pay last year.
I’m on social security and my wife and I made less than 30,000 last year,including my S.S. checks.
Hope that the government enjoys the money that COULD have helped us.
Probably won’t get the S.S. stimulus $250. either.

Just finished filing 2009 taxes. Forgot to added ERP money first time. After making correction, my wife and I got $172 of the $500, Obama got $328. Protology stimulus. Ask him how he spent the stimulus money.
well, i used to think 250 bucks was alot of money.. but of course, clinton was president and gas was 92 cents a gallon. remember those days? in those days i couldve used that 250 to get things i cant usually buy, like clothes for the kids, and toliet paper. but these days, 250 bucks is so sorry its tear worthy. i imagine, when i get mine, that like 90% of all other americans, it will go to the light company.
lets see here im losing 1200.00 for col ajustments for the two year freeze or is it longer than that.so now im getting 250.00 rebate wow i think maby ill buy a house or a new car or maby send it to congress they must need money bad they just got a raise i hope its enough to stimulate our economy or maby send it to gmc so they dont go under this is really a bring down to americans we the people for the people and screw the people next in line please gov must check all pockets oh you have 250.00 pay up sucker!
Didn’t get one last year and apparently will NOT be getting one the coming year..again. So obviously DID NOT SPEND IT on…anything. In fact had to borrow money from my son just to help make ends meet. Odd how pretty much EVERYTHING I have to purchase has gone UP…Hmmm?? Even the legislators seem to think so as they’ve voted themselfs..again..a Pay Raise…Hmm? Like to know where they live as I do DESPERATELY need to move there…
