I'm not sure why, maybe the rain. The rainy season here on Florida's east coast really saps my energy. I love the sunshine, which is why I moved here.

On an unrelated note, I just finished De Soto's The Mystery of Capital which basically states that third world countries have more dead capital than all the aid we have ever given them in the history of the US. The problem is not money, it is that their governments are so damn corrupt and their laws don't recognize property rights that they can't take advantage of basic free market economics. Of course, the IMF is partly to blame for bailing them out without holding them to better standards…but that's another post.
