Since the Business Experiment launched last week I've gotten an abnormal amount of email, and have met some very cool and interesting people. Some cool sites I've found throught them:
Funding Universe - attempting to bring entrepreneurs and angels together. It looks new but it's a great idea.
MyMindshare, and Jim's thoughts on making his platform open source.
We've gotten about 50 links from other blogs. Here's a sample of interesting new ones I've discovered.
A Mountatin TopSmart MobsPaul Allen (the Lesser)The funny thing is that with 50+ links and lots of positive feedback we have… 330ish registered users. That may seem like a lot, especially since most of them came in the first three days, but traffic analysis shows that click through rates are very low. Heck, only about 10% of the visitors to this blog clicked through to the site.
I've had an unmainstream opinion for awhile that I want to share. Everyone says that blogs are about dialogue, communication, participation, and all that jazz. But I'm not sure. I think they are about information. We use them to stay tuned to what is going on, not to connect with each other.
