Here is a good article on EA, their new deal with Nintendo, and the disappointment of their Sims Online venture. I personally wonder if people just aren't ready for Sims Online. As technology increases at an exponential pace, I think the average citizen is embracing it at a much slower rate. Heck, my undergraduate degree is in Electrical Engineering, and I sometimes feel overwhelmed. I think the average person just isn't ready for what is coming in the future – primarily because they don't feel they need it. Sims Online may be cool, but most people's lives are too busy already.
