I've been a big fan of Google for some time now, but I think the quality of their search results is slipping because people have figured out how to beat the system. Yahoo's purchase of Overture indicates they must believe they can compete with Google, and now a WSJ article claims that Teoma's technology is superior (for the moment anyway). It seems that an anti-Google buzz is building, but I wouldn't count Google out yet. They have made all the right moves so far, and are aware of people manipulating their link system. I would not be surprised if there were big changes coming up in the way pages are ranked.
