Is the Blogosphere more Interesting at the Ends?

If I could be a world famous blogger…I'd voluntarily demote myself. This end of the blogosphere is way more interesting.

I have to confess – I rarely read any of the top bloggers (mainly because it's all politics instead of business). But I think all the mainstream media's attention to blogs has missed a point that Chris so clearly made. The interesting thing about blogs isn't that businesses are blogging. And it isn't that Instapundit and other power bloggers might become an alternative news source to be reckoned with. What is interesting is what goes on at the lower levels. It's the distributed nature of blogs and the conversations they form that have potential. We haven't even begun to harness that.
