I've been wavering on whether or not RSS will have a major impact on anything. On the one hand I think that it is really just a new delivery mechanism and not as earth-shattering as some people make it out to be. On the other hand, it's new, and like most new technologies it will probably end up being used in ways we haven't thought of yet. Anyway, I've been reading an interesting report released a few weeks ago about the business case for RSS. Rok Hrastnik, the author, also has a blog about RSS.
