Now that I have written the post title, I realize how odd that sounds as a sentence. Anyway, congratulations to Jonathan Ruff. Jittery was just written up in a Red Herring article about eBay's high fees. Meanwhile, Jittery continues to offer no fee for sellers, and more features than eBay. Granted, eBay has a ton of traffic, but will customers stay loyal in the face of price hikes? Ebay might want to remember that when you are in an industry where customers can switch to a competitor with relatively little effort or pain, you have to watch how you treat them. I predict they will cut their fees within a year, even though Wall Street won't be happy.
