Those of you with Wall Street Journal access should check out the article today on manufacturing losses (a blurb about it is found on the main website too). Loss of manufacturing jobs is not just an American problem. Worldwide, such jobs have declined by 11% between 1995 and 2002. China, on which US manufacturing supports blame much of our ills, has been hit by the manufacturing decrease as well.
