Hey, Mitch, I joined on March 7, 2011, saw the recommendations and promptly cancelled my membership. I want my $9.95 back. I have called and sent emails. No call backs, no response. Your 'support team' is sagging, man. Give me my damn money back. Today, I get an email that I need to confirm my portfolio. Where exactly is the disconnect here? Why would I let such unresponsive people handle my money?

Drea:

Thanks for your well-reasoned article. Alot of times we are asked why we only offer ETFs. Why don't we expand our offerings to mutual funds etc.?

While we're planning to expand to Vanguard index funds, we have a very specific system that makes people more money because: 1) it provides precise and sophisticated asset allocation which mutual funds cannot do, 2) uses well-constructed indices via ETFs to implement that allocation which are low cost, low turnover (less taxes paid) and index their respective markets in a superior way. Mutual funds are usually 1.5% -- ETFs are .2%, and 3) our algorithms provide instruction as to when to rebalance to rigorously stick to your target allocations.

Investors get into alot of trouble because there is so much noise and confusion about what they should do with their investments. Most are rudderless.

MarketRiders makes the same "system" used by elite institutions and endowments available to anyone for $9.95 per month. We take the confusion and fees out with a logical, sophisticated approach that just makes sense.

But it doesn't work if people want to "mix" their own approach with ours. So while it may sound parochial, we encourage investors to use MarketRiders with whatever capital they're comfortable and over time, we bet that they'll be 100% in our camp -- selling individual stocks and mutual funds.

Thanks for writing about us and contact me anytime.
