Microsoft Raises Dividend After Quarterly Loss

Microsoft-LogoMicrosoft, despite its largest quarterly loss, has raised its dividend by five cents. The new dividend, of 36 cents a share, will be paid out in December.

The company recently released Windows 10 to customers for free and took a huge write-down tied to its Nokia mobile-phone acquisition.

Shares at Microsoft are down 5% in 2015 but edged up 0.39% to $44.15 in late trading.
