I wrote a few days ago that Microsoft was going to challenge Google. Now it seems that Yahoo is too. I still have a hard time believing anyone can beat Google in the next few years. The people there are fanatical about what they do, and until that wears off they will be tough to beat. The good news for consumers is that competition will probably make searches much much better in the future, and cheaper for companies who purchase search technology.
