Since I talk about this topic a lot, I want to point out this post by Randall Parker that analyzes a Berkeley study on outsourcing.
A ferocious new wave of outsourcing of white-collar jobs is sweeping the United States, according to a new study published by University of California, Berkeley, researchers, who say the trend could leave as many as 14 million service jobs in the United States vulnerable.
This is odd because other people disagree, and talk about the coming job boom (here and here) and resulting worker shortage. People on both sides seem worried. Maybe it will all even out.
