If you ever need a crash course in a topic, Bnet is a great resource for finding high level overviews of various business ideas. The site primarily focuses on strategy, management, and HR issues, but they are adding more business content all the time. Here are some of my favorite guides they provide. I hope you can find something in the list below that is useful and valuable to your daily grind.
- How To Run An Effective Meeting
- How To Beat a Low-Priced Competitor
- How To Raise Your Rejection Threshold in Sales
- How To Sell an Idea
- How To Manage Your Boss
- How To Achieve Work Life Balance
- How To Succeed As a First Time Manager
- How To Assess a Balance Sheet
- How To Get Started With GTD
- How To Identify and Manage Talent
Here is a list of our favorite business magazines.

While I would have chosen a different ten business guides from BNET, I completely agree that BNET is a tremendous resource — especially when asking a specific question or delving into a subject for the first time.
As Rob pointed out in his previous post about BNET( http://www.businesspundit.com/50226711/the_new_bnet.php ) we re-launched the site earlier this year. It’s wonderful to see that the “disagreement” about the site is based on differing ideas about the top ten resources. Like Rob, I hope folks will find things on BNET that help them with the everyday tasks of getting the job done (no matter what the job is).
