I love the new Guinness commercials that tell us to treat Saint Patrick's Day like a real holiday. However, I don't think they are that effective. They are pretty funny, and I remember them and talk to people about them, but they don't make me want to drink Guinness. I am not sure what they could to get me to drink it, other than sponsoring a contest or something like that. I like the beer, it just isn't my favorite. I've tried hundreds of beers, most of which I liked, and thus I like to mix it up, although there are a few I order more often than the rest. Anyway, the point is that Guinness has put out some great ads, but I think they are wasting their money. I guess I'll have to watch their earnings over the next few quarters to see if the ads help or not.
