No-Win Managers

Have you ever worked with someone who is never happy? Have you ever had a boss or co-worker who wasn't up to par but believed strongly that they were? Something that happened recently got me thinking about such people. If things don't go their way, they are bitter and angry at work. If things do go their way, they think they are better than everyone else. It's a no-win situation. If you don't like their ideas, they hate you. If you do like their ideas, it just reinforces their belief that they are a cut above you. These people make it through the lower ranks quickly, because people at the bottom believe their bullshit. But once they get higher up they stall. This is why I think the people who make it furthest in life are those who look at everything as a learning opportunity. The best thing you can know, is how much you don't know.
