VentureBlog asks when are bloggers off the record? This is why I never mention my company in this blog, though I could give you a three page post about stuff they are doing wrong. We have horrible management and a culture that makes sure young bright iconoclasts are broken down until they toe the line like everyone else. This whole issue of what is or is not appropriate can get very complex. To my knowledge, no blogger has yet been sued over a post, but the day is coming I am sure.
Those of you who want more links could try to be the first. I am sure the story would make it's way rapidly through the blogosphere! And since you would be the first, you would probably get off easy.
UPDATE: Well it has happened at least once.
