Paul McCartney and Beck weren’t VIP enough to attend a Grammys party

Paul McCartney turned away at Grammys Party

Paul McCartney and Beck are two of music’s most widely respected living legends, and yet they were denied access to rapper Tyga’s party after the Grammys on Monday night.

McCartney, Beck, and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins showed up at the party and were quickly turned away.

“How VIP do we gotta get?” a clearly amused McCartney said.

“We need another hit guys, we need another hit!”

Beck promised, “Next year!”

Here’s the video, which was posted by TMZ:

Tyga for his part said he wasn’t aware of the snafu. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday he said, “I really wish I woulda knew he was outside, I would’ve went outside with a mic, you know, brought him in.”

Then, Tyga personally invited Sir Paul to his show at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on Feb. 26, to which Kimmel promptly responded: “Oh, yeah. He’s not gonna fall for that again!”
