I have been running for years myself, like you between 3 and 4 miles, 3 to 5 days a week, but am not considered athletic by any stretch of the imagination. At the age of 53 I decided to run my first Marathon. One may conclude that if I can do it anyone can. I ran the Chicago Marathon this year and completed it. Nearly half of the 45,000 who entered either did not run or failed to finish due to the brutal humidity. This experience has lead me to come up with 45 lessons for life. I enjoyed yours, and you may enjoy mine. goto http://marathonersrant.wordpress.com. I look forward to your feedback. thanks for your thoughts.
