This is bad news. I thought Schwab was smarter than this. It's one thing to take away a Playstation as a perk, but cutting the 401k matching – when Americans are already worried about their retirement – is very bad. I think this will have serious repercussions in the future. Even if Schwab reinstates it, employees don't forget about these types of moves. The loyalty will be gone.
