Of course, 30 years, strategy existed. But we live today in a global economy. Competitive environment. Things change MUCH faster than before. Especially since the internet came in the business world. Strategy is essential but not enough. Any sound strategies should make you earn some money (as long as the execution is good).

EXECUTION is a much harder element to control. IT involves humans and potential lazyness.
