The Hot Seat: Why I Should Give Up Audio

Okay, so maybe my interview wasn't that bad. But forward up to the 6:00 mark if you want to hear me struggle on the hot seat. It's kind of uncomfortable just laying it out there for anyone to listen to. It reminds me of the first negative comments and emails I ever got when I started blogging. I was pretty defensive at first, but over time it became no big deal. I've learned that just by acknowledging other points of view people become less edgy. Then you can have a conversation instead of an argument.

I hope that by doing stuff like this I'll continually improve at answering unexpected questions. It's a valuable skill. But the gift of gab doesn't come naturally for introverts.
