		<description>Work is always more rewarding (materially) than slacking, but we discount rewards far into the future.  Slack time is usually time spent doing something fun right now.

Our ability to delay gratification is at least partly genetic.  Although I&#039;m sure there are &#039;nurture&#039; differences too, part of it&#039;s nature.
