Ian Ayers and Barry Nalebuff conclude that the best solution to the problem is a service that lets consumers get paid to take the call. You could sign up with your phone company, and set different prices for different times of the day, and then telemarketers could decide if it was worth calling you based on your posted price. A market solution to a nagging problem - I like it!
