I just found this article on stumbleupon using my SU toolbar. This facts are amazing. Maybe their origins are not just by mere accidents, but they actually arise in time of their necessity. The only difference is that, instead of investing lengthily years to discover those inventions or products – those people have discovered the short-cuts.

The gum one is not true…

Gum has been enjoyed by the Aztecs and other indigenous populations for centuries before that.

They used the resin from from the rubber tree and added a bit of mint leafs…

It was former Mexican president Santa Anna who introduced this technique to Addams. Who in turn created Addams bubble gum…
