This week has officially been The Economy is Going to Hell week. People have been talking about it for a while, but this week, I heard strangers and friends alike talking about it every day.
The headlines didn’t help. The AP had a succinct headline stating that “Everything Appears to be Spinning O*t of Contr*l” (this is not an exact quote, as Business Pundit will be sued for quoting more than four words of an AP headline). The NYT had “For a Good Retirement, Find Work. Good Luck.” And the International Herald Tribune informed the world of the following: “Consumers Wary Over Economy, Reports Indicate.”
Nice work, guys. You have mastered the art of stating the obvious.
